Jonathan Bardon

Jonathan Bardon was born in Dublin and educated at the High School Dublin, Trinity College Dublin, Queen’s University Belfast and the University of Ulster, where he completed a PhD in 1999. He teaches in the School of Modern History at Queen’s.

His many publications include Belfast: An Illustrated History (1982), Belfast: A Century (1999), A Guide to Local History Sources at the Public Record Office of Northern Ireland (2000) and Beyond the Studio: A History of BBC Northern Ireland (2000).
